Pinones, a community outside of San Juan, had been without electricity and clean water since Irma. Keeping spirits high, a fun day was planned with live music, traditional bomba dancing and face painting. Of course, the highlight was the installation of the town’s own DIVVY system. This is the first of many “stationary” systems with a specially vetted, appointed and trained “DIVVY Ambassador” – a person who will monitor and maintain the system.
